Terms, Conditions and Forms
As a professional cuddle therapist it is essential that my clients or prospective clients are aware of what cuddle therapy is and what it is not. I insist that we work together within clear boundaries and consent.
For this reason I require you to read and agree to the following before any sessions will commence. The links below will take you to the forms that need to be completed prior to our first session. The forms will also be emailed out upon a booking being made if they are not signed in advance.
1-2-1 Cuddle Therapy Booking Terms and Conditions
Clients must be over the age of 18 years old and be in good health; have no infectious/contagious disease or condition.
Fees for each session will be stated clearly before the start of each session and payment is required in advance. By making the booking the Client is agreeing to the cancellation policy.
All clients must agree to attend an online pre screening video call with the therapist prior to their first session. No sessions will commence without this pre screen call. Photographic ID such as Passport or Driving licence must be shown during the screening call and a copy taken at the start of the first session. The copies will be stored securely and in line with data protection legislation.
Clients must also complete Disclaimer & Consent forms online at least 24 hours prior to their first booking. No sessions will commence without these forms being completed. Failure to complete the forms within 24 hours will result in the session being cancelled and a partial refund issued in line with the cancellation policy. Subsequent sessions will require the client to review and reaccept the disclaimer and consent terms before each session.
There will be no discrimination irrespective of age; disability; gender or gender reassignment; marriage status; pregnancy or maternity status; race; religion or belief; sex; or sexual orientation.
The practitioner will not at any point be held responsible for any injuries or loss of property that may result from a session. By agreeing to these terms prior to booking a session you release the practitioner from any liability for any such incidents.
Please note that the practitioner reserves the right to refuse a session with a client that is deemed unsuitable. In addition to this, in the event of inappropriate behaviour by a client or the refusal to agree to or comply with the terms stated above, will result in the immediate termination of the session with no refund given.
In addition to this, the client is also entitled to stop the session at any point should they feel uncomfortable. This is to ensure mutual respect, safety and trust are maintained throughout the session by both parties.
Any breach of the Terms and Conditions, Code of Conduct, boundaries or other inappropriate behaviour by the Therapist should be reported by the Client to the appropriate authorities and organisations as soon as possible: the Client is entitled to a full refund. The Client may end the session at any time without giving a reason, in which case no refund is due.
Any breach of the Terms and Conditions, Code of Conduct, boundaries or other inappropriate behaviour by the Client will result in the session being immediately terminated and will be reported by the Therapist to the appropriate authorities and organisations as soon as possible: The Therapist may end the session at any time in these circumstances, in which case no refund is due.
