Talks and workshops on platonic touch and human connection for your group or event
I believe touch and human connection are essential, not a luxury, but something we're all biologically wired to need. I bring that belief into community groups, retreats, women's circles, festivals and organised events of all kinds, through talks and workshops exploring why connection matters, and how we can invite more of it into our lives safely and consensually.
Every session is built around consent, communication and boundaries - that's what makes this work safe, and what makes it work at all.
What a session can include
A talk — exploring the science and importance of human connection and touch, why so many of us experience touch deprivation, and how we can begin to address it. Can be tailored to run anywhere from 30 minutes to a full session, depending on your event.
A workshop — more hands-on (quite literally), with space for discussion, reflection, and guided connection exercises, from eye gazing and synchronised breathing through to an introduction to cuddle puddles, for groups who want to experience it fully.
A mini cuddle puddle — a taste of what a full cuddle puddle feels like, often run as the closing piece of a talk or workshop, so people can experience the warmth and calm of consensual, platonic touch for themselves.

A bit about me
I'm Samii, a certified professional cuddler trained and accredited through Cuddle Professionals International, and a Reiki Master Teacher. My work has been featured on BBC Radio 2, BBC News Online and Woman's Own. At Latitude Festival, I manned a cuddle station offering free hugs, mini cuddle sessions and mini cuddle puddles and had countless conversations with friends, families and individuals about touch, intimacy, consent and platonic connection, hearing their own joys, pivotal moments and struggles along the way. I also founded Hug100, a free-hugs movement encouraging people to each give 100 free hugs.
